Ty Dillon Finishes 11th at Daytona International Speedway

February 21, 2015

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series – NextEra Energy Resources 250
February 20, 2015 – Daytona International Raceway

Ty Dillon, driver of the No. 33 Rheem/ Gemaire Distributors Chevrolet earned an 11th-place result after battling the draft in the late portions of the NextEra Energy Resources 250. Dillon posted the fast time for qualifying placing him on the pole for the 100-lap event. Crew Chief, Shane Huffman called Dillon to pit road multiple times during the Daytona season-opener. Dillon led the field for 37 laps and remained a top contender for the majority of the race. The Welcome N.C., native slipped to the seventh spot on lap 62 and was unable to find a drafting partner relegating Dillon in No. 33 Rheem/Gemaire Distributors Chevrolet team to an 11th-place finish.

We had a really fast Rheem/ Gemaire Chevrolet tonight. Shane (Huffman, crew chief) and the No. 33 team did a great job setting up the truck this weekend. I wish we could have had some drafting help there at the end. We could have made a run for the win. This gives us momentum heading into Atlanta. A special thank you to Rheem for all their support. – Ty Dillon
