April 30, 2016

NASCAR XFINITY Series – Sparks Energy 300
April 30, 2016 – Talladega Superspeedway – Lincoln, AL

Austin Dillon will pilot Chassis No. 174 in the Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. Dillon drove this Chevrolet to a fifth-place finish in the NASCAR XFINITY Series season-opener at Daytona in February.

In three previous XFINITY Series starts at Talladega Superspeedway, Dillon has earned one top-five finish and two top-10 finishes. The RCR driver earned the pole award last spring at the 2.66-mile superspeedway and holds an average starting position of 2.7 coupled with an average finishing position of 10th.

Rheem’s line of energy efficient products allows customers to live a greener life by saving up to 30 percent on their energy bills. Rheem recommends using the Vacation Mode setting with the new EcoNet system when leaving the house for an extended period of time. The Vacation Mode setting can use 25 percent less energy.

With eight XFINITY Series events complete in 2016, the No. 2 team has one victory, six top-five and eight top-10 finishes with six laps led to their credit. Paul Menard is scheduled to drive the No. 2 Chevrolet at Dover International Speedway for the May 14 event.

What gives you that confidence when you go into a track where so little is in your control?
You have to have confidence. You can’t go in there being negative or dreading going into a superspeedway. You have to look at it as a points day. How to gain maximum points the entire time. Also, the opportunity to win is there. You always have the chance to win those speedway races. – Austin Dillon
