Preview – ROXOR 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

RACE INFO: The ROXOR 200 a NHMS begins at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 20, 2019. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, Sirius XM 90, and PRN Radio.

Racing in the New Hampshire: Christopher Bell claimed the win last year in his No. 20 Rheem Supra at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) in his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) start at the 1.058-mile oval. Bell qualified second but took over the lead on lap one, leading a total of 93 laps to take the checkered flag.

Loudon is statistically my best racetrack on the schedule and hopefully it stays that way.

On the Hood: Watts, a part of Watts Water Technologies and a major Rheem supplier, will be featured on the hood of Bell’s No. 20 Supra this weekend at Loudon. This will be the first of two races this season that Watts will featured on the No. 20. Local Support: The Rheem Eemax water heating group, head quartered in nearby Waterbury, CT, will be featured on the quarter panels of the No. 20 Supra and will have a large group in attendance at the race supporting Christopher and the No. 20 team.

Truck Racing at Loudon: Bell is no stranger to success at the Loudon, having two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with one win, two top five and two top-10 finishes with an average start of 2.5 and an average finish of 1.5.

Kentucky Recap: Bell dominated the first two Stages Friday night at Kentucky Speedway, but the handling shifted to tight in the final Stage and he couldn’t make up ground on the leader. Bell led 72 laps and left Kentucky with a second-place finish.

Joe Gibbs Racing at New Hampshire: JGR has 45 NXS starts at NHMS and has earned nine wins, 26 top-five and 33 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has won five pole awards with an average start of 8.8 and an average finish of 8.8.

Christopher Bell: “Loudon is statistically my best racetrack on the schedule and hopefully it stays that way. I think our short track package is really good. I really enjoy racing at New Hampshire. It’s fast enough to where aero matters, but mechanical grip is important too. Jason (Ratcliff) and the guys continue to bring fast Supra’s to the track and I’m ready to head north and see what we’ve got.”
