Christopher Bell – No. 20 Rheem Toyota Supra Preview Pocono Green 250 at Pocono Raceway

Racing in the Pocono’s: Christopher Bell will make his second career Xfinity Series start at Pocono Raceway this Saturday. In 2018 Bell qualified fifth and finished 36th after contact late in the race sent his No. 20 Supra into the wall, ending his day. Prior to the contact Bell had worked his way up to second before a pit road speeding penalty set him back in the field.

I love Pocono, it’s the most unique track on the schedule and a lot of fun to drive.

Pocono Winner: Bell is no stranger to finding his way to victory lane at Pocono Raceway. In 2017 Bell took home the win in the NASCAR Truck Series at the 2.5-mile tricky triangle.

Charlotte Recap: Bell qualified on the pole for 200-laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway and dominated the field through Stage 1 of the race. In Stage 2 Bell ran over debris which resulted in a flat tire, ending his day early.

Joe Gibbs Racing at Pocono: JGR has nine NXS starts at Pocono Raceway and has earned one win, four top-five and six top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has won two pole awards with an average start of 6.7 and an average finish of 11.9.

Christopher Bell: “I love Pocono, it’s the most unique track on the schedule and a lot of fun to drive. With this package the speeds will be up and I’m excited for the new experience.”
