October 31, 2019
We are heading to Texas Motor Speedway where Christopher Bell has had strong performances with a pole, two top-five and three top-10 finishes narrowly missing a win last year and still sit in 1st place in the points standings heading into the final three races of the season.

RACE INFO: The O’Reilly Auto Parks 300 at Texas Motor Speedway begins at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 2, 2019. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN, Sirius XM 90, and PRN Radio.
Bell at Texas Motor Speedway: Christopher Bell has four prior NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS), earning two poles, two top-five and three-top 10 finishes. In the Spring of 2018 Bell narrowly missed a win, crossing the finish line second. He followed that up in the fall at Texas by qualifying on the pole and had a fast car but was collected in an accident. In the Spring race this year Bell earned his second pole starting position at TMS and led a total of 127 laps but came up just short on pit strategy at the end to finish third.
Texas Truck Success: In addition to his three NXS starts at TMS, Bell has five Truck Series starts at the 1.5-mile track and found his way to victory lane in 2017. In addition to the win, Bell has two top-five and three top-10 finishes at TMS.
Rheem at TMS: Rheem will have a large presence at Texas. They will host 150 guests, including wholesale distributors, HVAC contractors, southwestern plumbing pros and some top Rheem suppliers.
Home Track: Christopher Bell is originally from Norman, Oklahoma, which is just over two hours away from Texas Motor Speedway.
Points Update: Bell and his Rheem team continue to sit in first in the points standings, 11 points ahead of second heading into the second race in the ‘Round of 8’ this weekend.
Joe Gibbs Racing at Texas Motor Speedway: JGR has 89 NXS starts at TMS and has earned 12 wins, 34 top-five and 57 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has won nine pole awards with an average start of 10.3 an average finish of 11.1.
Christopher Bell: “I really enjoy going to Texas, it’s my home racetrack and I’ll have lots of friends and family there supporting me. We haven’t had the best results for how good our cars have been at Texas, but hopefully we can turn that around Saturday night and lock ourselves into Homestead.”
