Ron Hornaday returns to LVMS, with seventeen combined race starts over NASCAR’s top three series including 13 NCWTS, 3 NNS and 1 NSCS. The Palmdale, California native’s stats on the 1.5-mile asphalt oval, located just outside of the Las Vegas city limits, are impressive. Ron has 1 win in the NCWTS, 6 top-5’s, and 12 top-10’s, along with 2 (type) pole awards.

I want to say thanks to Bob Newberry and Rheem for working together to give me this great opportunity to get back behind the wheel of a NCWTS Silverado. I’m looking forward to racing in Las Vegas, as we have a lot of family and friends on the west coast that will be there. I know Ryan (McKinney) and the team have prepared an awesome truck for me to race and I’d like nothing more than to get Rheem and NTS into victory lane this weekend. – Ron Hornaday Jr.

Schedule

On Track Activity in Las Vegas kicks off Saturday with two back to back seventy-five minute practice sessions beginning at 9:00am – 10:15am and 10:45am – 12:00pm. NASCAR’s knockout style qualifying is scheduled for 3:40pm and the green flag will wave for the Rhino Linings 350 race at 7:00pm (PST). All times listed are local for Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Pacific Time Zone.
