Hornaday Looks To Capture His Second-Career Victory at Gateway Motorsports

June 10, 2014

NASCAR Truck Series – Drivin’ For Linemen 200
June 14, 2014 – Gateway Motorsports Park
Ron Hornaday, No. 30

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) is back to it this weekend in Madison, Illinois, just outside St. Louis, Missouri, for the Drivin’ For Linemen 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park. NCWTS veteran Ron Hornaday Jr. is set to make his ninth-career start at the 1.25-mile oval, looking to capture his second-career victory at Gateway. In his previous eight starts at Gateway, Hornaday has scored one win, three top fives, three top 10s and led 344 laps.

I’m excited to get back to Gateway for the first time since 2010. We’ve had some success here in the past, especially back in 2008 when we won this race. Hopefully we can build upon the fast truck we had out in Texas and my previous experience at Gateway to put together another solid finish this weekend, perhaps even a win for Turner Scott Motorsports. – Ron Hornaday Jr.

The Drivin’ For Linemen 200 can be seen live on Saturday, June 14 on FOX Sports 1. Race Coverage begins at 8:00 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, Channel 90.
