NASCAR Truck Series – Careers For Veterans 200
August 16, 2014 – Michigan International Speedway
Ron Hornaday, No. 30

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to the Irish Hills of Michigan for the Careers for Veterans 200 at Michigan International Speedway (MIS). Hornaday has 10 previous starts at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval, with a best finish of fourth in 2010. In the 1,004 laps run in the last 10 events at MIS, Hornaday has turned all but four, giving him a laps completed ratio of 99.6-percent.

Michigan is one of those places I’d really like to conquer. I’ve been consistent there in the past, but never really dominated a race. I know that Turner Scott Motorsports has run really well at Michigan in the past and this No. 30 team has been in victory lane there before. Hopefully we can have a strong run and mark this track off the list of places I haven’t won yet. – Ron Hornaday Jr.

The Careers for Veterans 200 can be seen live on Saturday, August 16 at 12:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.
