Hornaday Aims For Top-Five at the Lucas Oil 200

May 27, 2014

NASCAR Truck Series – Lucas Oil 200
May 30, 2014 – Dover International Speedway
Ron Hornaday, No. 30

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to the track this weekend in Dover, Delaware for the Lucas Oil 200 at Dover International Speedway. Four-time NCWTS champion Ron Hornaday Jr. will make his 10th-career start at the one-mile oval in hopes of scoring his second-career win at the Monster Mile. In his nine previous events at Dover, Hornaday has earned one win, three top fives, five top 10s, led 275 laps and has an average finish of 11.2.

Dover is a very fast one-mile oval and I really enjoy racing there. The guys at Turner Scott Motorsports have prepared me with another great Rheem Comfort Products Silverado for this weekend. We got caught up in an accident a few weeks ago in Charlotte, and that kept us from having another solid finish, so hopefully we can get back on track this week. I am looking forward to working with Doug George and hopefully getting this Rheem Comfort Products Silverado in victory lane. – Ron Hornaday Jr.
