Hornaday Aims to Capture His Fourth-Career Win at Texas Motor Speedway

June 2, 2014

NASCAR Truck Series – WinStar World Casino & Resort 400
June 6, 2014 – Texas Motor Speedway
Ron Hornaday, No. 30

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) is back in action this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas for the WinStar World Casino & Resort 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. Four-Time NCWTS champion Ron Hornaday Jr. will make his 23rd-career start at the 1.5-mile oval as he looks to capture his fourth-career win in the Lone Star State. In his previous 22 starts at Texas, Hornaday has scored three wins, seven top fives, 12 top 10s and led 681 laps, with an average finish of 12.4.

Texas is one of my favorite race tracks on the schedule. We’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of success at this track in the past and I always like seeing Texas come up on the schedule. We had a decent run at Dover last weekend, but I’d like to get this No. 30 Ruud truck and everyone at Turner Scott Motorsports to victory lane. I think we have a great chance of accomplishing that this weekend. – Ron Hornaday Jr.
