Buescher Looking Forward To Competing At Watkins Glen

August 6, 2014

NASCAR Nationwide Series – Zippo 200 At Watkins Glen
August 9, 2014 – Watkins Glen International
James Buescher, No. 99

James Buescher will make his second start at the 11-turn, 2.45-mile Watkins Glen International (WGI) road course on Saturday afternoon. Buescher’s first and only start at WGI came back during the 2011 season when he started in the 10th position and went on to finish in 17th. In the only road course race of the 2014 season, Buescher brought the No. 99 Rheem Toyota Camry home just outside the top-15 in the 17th-place.

Road racing is a totally different beast. It’s fun and challenging all at the same time. You really have to concentrate the whole time otherwise it’s easy to make a mistake that could cost you. Watkins Glen is a fast and demanding road course, I’m really looking forward to getting back on track there this weekend and using what we’ve learned at Road America to secure our Toyota Care team a solid finish. – James Buescher
