Christopher Bell – No. 95 Rheem-Smurfit Kappa Toyota Camry Preview Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway

“I won a Truck Championship there and with the current rules package that should relate pretty well.”

Bell at Homestead: Christopher Bell will make his first NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend in the No. 95 Rheem-Smurfit Kappa Toyota Camry for Leavine Family Racing. Bell has made three prior starts at the 1.5-mile track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). In 2018 and 2019 Bell was part of the “Championship 4” making a run for the NASCAR Xfinity Series title.

Truck Series History at Homestead: Bell has three previous NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) starts at Homestead, earning one top-five and two top-10 finishes. In 2017 Bell secured his NGOTS title run with a second-place finish at Homestead.

Featured on the Car: Smurfit Kappa will be featured on the sides of Bell’s No. 95 Toyota Camry in Miami. Smurfit Kappa, a FTSE 100 company, is a world leader in paper-based packaging. To learn more visit: www.smurfitkappa.com

Martinsville Recap: Christopher Bell started 32nd based on a random draw and was able to make up some ground early on before handling became an issue on the No. 95 Toyota. The team tried different adjustments, but nothing seemed to be what Bell needed. Bell spent the race gaining as much experience as he could behind the wheel and ultimately finished 28th in his first NCS start at Martinsville.

Christopher Bell: “Homestead is a great track. It is really slick, wide and we can run all over. I won a Truck Championship there and with the current rules package that should relate pretty well. I’m excited to get there and see what we’ve got.”
