LAS VEGAS, NV (Jan. 31, 2023) – Rheem’s family of brands will highlight its game-changing sustainable solutions in Booth C2525 at the 2023 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas from Jan. 31 – Feb. 2. Featuring Rheem’s US Water Heating and Air Conditioning Divisions, along with the Ruud® brand, Rheem’s leaders and product engineers will be available to discuss new product innovations that dramatically improve efficiency and enhance convenience and comfort for users.

At IBS, Rheem will showcase the company’s bold approach to product and process improvements that dramatically reduce the impact on the environment, while empowering customers and employees to work and live sustainably.

Decarbonization Trailblazers

Rheem will highlight groundbreaking changes in decarbonization through an array of efforts, including product advancements and incentive programs. Rheem offers an extensive line of heating, cooling and water heating products that provide a large reduction in energy usage and reduce a homeowner’s greenhouse gas footprint.

Homeowners can take advantage of these energy-efficient offerings with the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This Act includes several tax credits for the installation of heat pumps and high-efficiency residential water heaters, furnaces, boilers, central air conditioners and circulating fans used in qualifying gas furnaces. Rheem recently launched an informational hub online to help homeowners quickly understand all the qualifying products and how to leverage these incentives.

Rheem Air Conditioning Division

Rheem reimagined its product line, designing it to be smarter and more compact to ensure the line is the company’s most energy-efficient, reliable, and sustainable offering. Rheem is now introducing the all-new Endeavor™ Line of Gas Furnaces, Air Handlers, Split and Packaged Air Conditioners, Split and Packaged Heat Pumps and Packaged Gas Electric units at the IBS show. Rheem® Endeavor™ Line Classic Series iM Air Conditioner: These new air conditioners are easy to install, designed with quiet operation in mind and feature industry-leading warranties with up to 10 years on parts and up to 10 years on conditional unit replacement. The unit includes built-in Bluetooth connectivity and provides increased energy savings month after month with higher efficiency with SEER2 and EER2 ratings.

Rheem® Endeavor™ Line Classic Plus® Series iM Heat Pump: This heat pump provides a more versatile solution for consistent comfort season after season. Its super-efficient technology lowers energy bills, while its excellent durability helps keep the homeowner’s mind at ease. The unit also features an industry-leading warranty and built-in Bluetooth® connectivity that make it faster and easier for a contractor to install and service a new system.  

Rheem® Endeavor™ Line Classic Series 80% Gas Furnace: The Rheem Endeavor Line Classic Series 80% Gas Furnace delivers quieter, dependable comfort and exceptional value. Ruud® Endeavor™ Line Achiever Plus® Series: Highly efficient and ENERGY STAR® certified, the new Ruud Endeavor Line Achiever Plus® Series is EcoNet enabled. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity makes it faster and easier to maintain the unit’s health.

Rheem® ProTerra® Plug-in Heat Pump Water Heater with HydroBoost (120V Shared Circuit): This award-winning, ENERGY STAR® certified model is easy to install with minimal clearance requirements and a standard tank footprint. The 120V ProTerra Plug-in is ideal for drop-in gas replacement as it plugs into any standard 120V outlet featuring high-efficiency upgrades without the need to install a 240V electric service. A Best of IBS award finalist, the ProTerra Plug-in with HydroBoost pulls heat energy from the air around it to heat water, delivering up to 5x the efficiency of a gas water heater. Built-in EcoNet Wi-Fi technology provides complete control of your water heater — from adjusting water temperature and tracking energy usage — all from a smartphone.

Rheem® Professional Prestige® ProTerra® Hybrid Electric Water Heater with LeakGuard™: One of the smartest, most efficient water heaters on the market is the Professional Prestige ProTerra Hybrid Electric Water Heater with LeakGuard™. ProTerra is unique because its heat pump technology pulls heat energy from the air to heat water. This ENERGY STAR® certified unit uses up to 75% less energy than a standard electric water heater and less energy than a classic 100-watt incandescent lightbulb. It also allows time-of-use scheduling and energy usage tracking through built-in EcoNet that connects directly to a mobile phone.
