Rheem HP-50 Heat Pump Water Heater Named Green Trend to Watch!.

February 26, 2010

EcoWatch, a blog by sustainable building magazine EcoHome, recently discussed the green trends experts predict will change the building industry in 2010. The Rheem HP-50, recognized as an “industry-leading” product in energy efficiency, bears the same footprint as a standard tank and is simple to install. It boasts an energy factor rating of 2.0, which translates to average savings of $286 yearly in household utilities! In addition to year-long utility savings, the HP-50 can save homeowners’ valuable tax dollars as an eligible product for the federal tax credit program.

Other groundbreaking green trends forecasted include zero-energy homes and web-based energy monitoring. Click here to read EcoWatch’s “Seven Green Trends for 2010” featuring the Rheem HP-50 heat pump water heater.
