Htpg, llc to showcase new, award-winning products at 2017 ahr expo

January 27, 2017

ATLANTA - January 27, 2017 --- An industry leader in commercial refrigeration, Heat Transfer Products Group (HTPG), part of the Rheem® family of brands, will showcase several new products at the 2017 AHR Expo in Las Vegas. HTPG designs, manufactures and markets commercial refrigeration equipment under the premium brands of Russell®, Witt®, Kramer® and ColdZone®. HTPG will be exhibiting with Rheem (booth #C1336) at the show.

New HTPG products featured at the 2017 AHR Expo include:

o   The environmentally friendly design of the new Quantum Air Remote Air Cooled Condenser decreases installation labor and energy costs. The units feature heavy duty lifting eyes and hinged legs for quick installation. Motors are conveniently stud mounted on rigid rails for increased stability and ease of service. The built-in LED lighting illuminates the electrical control panels for a clear view during dark or low light service calls. Designed with California Title 24 regulatory compliance in mind, Quantum Air models are available with one to 14 fans, with single and double fan widths in either vertical or horizontal air flow configurations.

o   The newly designed Low Profile Unit Cooler line features improved effectiveness and ease of service with high efficiency motors, quieter operation, enhanced fan venturi design, new coils with enhanced copper tubing.  The redesigned cooler housing combines high performance with easy and quick access to serviceable components. The Low Profile Unit Coolers mount flush to the ceiling and meet all NSF requirements. Their embossed aluminum housing is lightweight, easily cleaned, while end panels slide out for quick access to piping and electrical connections, including a prewired electrical harness with quick connectors and factory installed liquid line solenoid leads.

o   The new Next-Gen II, 3 to 22 HP Air Cooled Condensing Units incorporate design features that improve efficiency, performance and ease of service. The Next-Gen II units have an expanded range of compressor types for use with low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants. For operating stability and increased system effectiveness, Next-Gen II units feature a 70°F floating head pressure control valve and an integral sub-cooling circuit that allows saturated liquid to flow from the receiver to the condenser where the refrigerant is sub-cooled by ambient air.

o   The newly designed, award-winning Russell Next-Gen MiniCon Multi-refrigerant Air Cooled Condensing Units are available in 1/2 to 6 HP models and have been engineered to lower long-term operating costs. R-Series Next-Gen MiniCon units feature an integral sub-cooling circuit that allows saturated liquid to flow from the receiver to the condenser where the refrigerant is sub-cooled by ambient air. The units have base mounted shut-off valves for easy access, a large removable control panel door, and color-coded wiring for easy maintenance.  The Russell Next-Gen MiniCon was recently recognized by The ACHR News with a silver Dealer Design Award.

“Our products are mainstays in the supermarket, food service and commercial warehousing industries, with good reason,” said Paul Westbrook, HTPG’s director of sales and marketing. “With each new introduction, we build upon the success of our legacy products, focusing on energy efficiency, performance, and features that make the units easy to install and service. We are proud to introduce these new products at AHR 2017."
