Ty Dillon Starts NASCAR Truck Series Season Off At Daytona

February 17, 2015

NASCAR Truck Series – NextEra Energy Resources 250
February 20, 2015 – Daytona International Speedway
Ty Dillon, No. 33

This weekend will mark GMS Racing’s second start at the Daytona Beach, Fla., speedway. Ty Dillon will pilot chassis No. 011 in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway. This GMS Racing-prepared Chevrolet Silverado was raced last year at both Daytona and Talladega Superspeedway. A veteran of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Dillon has made 49 series starts, collecting three victories, 18 top-five, 33 top-10 finishes and four pole awards. In two full seasons of competition, Dillon led for a total of 665 laps and acquired a top-10 average finishing position.

I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Camping World Series Truck at Daytona (International Speedway). I had a good test session with GMS Racing earlier this year and think we have a really good shot at running up front and taking home the trophy on Friday. It’s an honor to be able to represent all of the great people of Rheem and their distributors for a few races this season. – Ty Dillon
