Hornaday Aims For Victory At Pocono Raceway

July 29, 2014

NASCAR Truck Series – Pocono Mountains 150
August 2, 2014 – Pocono Raceway
Ron Hornaday, No. 30

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Pocono Raceway for the 11th of 22 races in 2014. Ron Hornaday Jr. has four previous starts at the 2.5-mile tri-oval and has earned a best start of seventh (2011) and a best finish of sixth (2013).

Pocono is a big, fast, flat track with a lot of room to move around. Every turn is so different, and you’ve got the bump to contend with, so it’s different than any other place we run. This Rheem Comfort Products team has been running so well, and we just haven’t been able to get to victory lane just yet, but last week’s race in Eldora was a real shot in the arm for me and this team. I’d love to get these guys a win this weekend. – Ron Hornaday Jr.

The Pocono Mountains 150 can be seen live on Saturday, August 2 at 12:30 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.
