Ron Hornaday Looking Forward to Competing at Kansas Speedway

May 5, 2014

NASCAR Truck Series – SFP 250
May 09, 2014 – Kansas Speedway
Ron Hornaday, No. 30

Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday Jr. will make his fourth-career start for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) in Friday night’s shootout at Kansas Speedway. The 55-year-old veteran is no stranger to success at the Kansas City track, having nine starts with one win, three poles, three top fives and six top 10s to his credit.

I’m really looking forward to getting back in the Rheem Comfort Products Chevrolet this weekend in Kansas. We have had a long break and it will be nice to get back to racing. I am really looking forward to trying out NASCAR’s new qualifying format. After being rained out in Daytona and Martinsville, it will be cool to have our turn at the madness. All the guys at Turner Scott Motorsports worked hard on the Rheem Chevrolet this week and I think with the right adjustments and a little bit of luck, we can come home with a great finish. – Ron Hornaday
