Chris Peel is responsible for all of Rheem’s business operations globally. During his tenure as CEO, Chris has ignited a passion for product innovation worldwide, leading to the introduction of game-changing, industry-first products. Chris champions Rheem’s diverse and inclusive culture, actively connecting with employees in every region around the globe.
Chris joined Rheem in 2008 and served as the company’s president and chief operating officer before assuming his current position. He came to Rheem with over 30 years of industry expertise, including positions at Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, a division of Lennox International, United Technologies, and Carrier Corporation. Chris is a Navy veteran, having served seven years as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He received a Master of Science degree in management and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He earned his naval officer’s commission through the Navy ROTC program at Purdue University.
Scott Bates leads the global legal department and oversees the organization’s legal, governance, compliance, risk management, intellectual property, and government relations functions. Scott is the chair of the Compliance Committee and supervises the organization’s compliance programs and initiatives, such as the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, antitrust, export control, and anti-bribery training.
Scott joined Rheem in 2008 with more than 17 years of global legal expertise. His experience includes managing securities and antitrust investigations, U.S. class action proceedings, and the response to significant collective bargaining and other union matters.
Scott earned an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in Ontario, a law degree from Queen’s University in Ontario, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and sociology from the University of Toronto. Scott is a member of the New York State, Washington, D.C., and Province of Ontario bars.
Rich Bendure oversees Rheem’s global water heater operations and businesses. He enthusiastically drives our Invest to Grow, Innovate to Lead , and Deliver on Commitments strategies. Rich views world-class talent, cross functional collaboration, and the unique culture of our team as the most important enablers of our success.
Rich joined Rheem in 2014 after serving as chief operating officer at Balchem Corporation, a technology-based manufacturer to the health and wellness segments. While at Balchem, Rich repositioned the business, which ultimately resulted in doubling the company’s market capitalization and sales. Prior to his time at Balchem, Rich held roles of increasing responsibility, including general manager, group vice president, and division president, and was a corporate officer at Nalco-Ecolab -- a Fortune 500 company and the world’s largest industrial water treatment and sanitization chemical company.
Rich earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Wright State University.
Mike Branson leads Rheem’s Global Air division, which includes residential and commercial heating and cooling products, healthy building solutions, commercial refrigeration equipment, and parts/supplies for markets in the United States, Canada, and the Middle East. In Canada and the Middle East, he leads product strategy and sales for water heating solutions. Mike also supports Air strategies for Latin America and other global markets.
Mike has worked in the HVAC industry for nearly 30 years. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Reactors Engineer.
Mike earned both master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University in engineering. Following graduation, he attended the U.S. Navy Direct Commission Officer Indoctrination school in Newport, Rhode Island.
Chee Wee Gan is a forward-thinking leader responsible for Rheem’s global strategic planning and enterprise strategy development and overseeing the company’s global sustainability programs. Chee Wee also oversees our global brand and licensing strategic initiatives.
Chee Wee joined Rheem in 2018. Previously, he served as the global strategy director at Clarios (formerly Power Solutions Group of Johnson Controls), where he led the development of business strategies for the global Aftermarket Division, focusing on North American, European, and Chinese markets. Earlier, Chee Wee was a senior principal at Kearney, where he advised senior executives globally on growth strategies, business transformations, digital commerce, M&A, IT, and supply chain strategies.
Chee Wee earned dual bachelor’s degrees in information systems analysis & design and marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his Master of Business Administration from UCLA.
Greg Henry is responsible for delivering global strategic leadership for accounting, finance, and corporate development at Paloma Rheem Global.
Before Greg joined Rheem in 2011, he served in various leadership roles at Harman International, including vice president and CFO, the Harman Professional Group and vice president, finance, for North America. At Harman for 20 years, Greg’s tenure spanned many roles, including financial analyst, manager of treasury operations, assistant treasurer, vice president and treasurer, and vice president of investor relations.
Greg earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
Greg leads Rheem’s internal and external veterans’ initiative.
Dipa Homer leads Rheem’s global human resources department, overseeing benefits, learning and talent development, HR technology, mergers and acquisitions, total rewards and communications.
Dipa is a proven HR leader with a career spanning more than 20 years and a track record of delivering progressive and innovative business-aligned strategies. She joined Rheem in 2020 from NCR Corporation, where she led HR teams in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. During her 17-year tenure at NCR, Dipa held various leadership roles, focusing on talent and development and centers of excellence, which included talent acquisition, HR shared services and employee and labor relations.
Dipa attended Western Sydney University, where she earned a double major in human resources management and industrial relations and a sub-major in marketing.Dipa is also an Executive Coach, having completed the SHERPA Executive Coaching Program through the University of Georgia in 2020.
Alex Housten leads our operations and supply chain strategy across Global Air and Global Water. He and his team are responsible for ensuring the coordination of manufacturing, sourcing, network, production technology, quality, health and safety, and Rheem Production System (RPS) activities. In this role, Alex also oversees the continuous improvements necessary in manufacturing and supply chain performance to ensure Rheem delivers the high service level that our channel partners expect.
Alex joined Rheem in 2024 with nearly 20 years of global experience in the building technologies industry across various operations, commercial and P&L leadership roles. Most recently, Alex served as chief operations officer at dormakaba Group, a global access solutions company, where he previously led the Americas business through three years of comprehensive business transformation to generate growth and performance. Prior, Alex held leadership roles for 15 years at Carrier Corporation, in the fire & security, controls, compression, and commercial HVAC businesses.
Alex holds both a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Master of Business Administration from Purdue University.
Alan Machuga is responsible for developing and implementing Rheem’s long-term technology vision strategy. He leads the company’s Global Technology Group, which includes the Controls Engineering, IT, Digital Services, and Cloud Architecture teams.
Before joining Rheem in 2020, Alan served as the Chief Information Officer at Carrier’s Commercial HVAC division and global leader for the company’s ERP and Digital Factory teams.During his 32-year career with United Technologies, Alan held executive roles with global responsibilities across multiple divisions, including Pratt & Whitney, Carrier, Fire & Security, Climate Controls & Security, and Building & Industrial Systems.
Alan earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford.
