Rheem launched a line of Air and Water heat pump products across residential and commercial offerings that met our 50% GHG reduction goal, some achieving as much as an 87% reduction.
Rheem Heat Pump Water Heaters are up to 4X as efficient as standard electric water heaters and up to 5X as efficient as gas water heaters. The high efficiency of tankless combined with recirculation make Rheem ® IKONIC ™ Condensing Tankless Water Heaters a model sustainability water heating solution capable of saving both energy and water. The recirculation feature provides faster hot water at the tap, leading to savings of up to 12,000 gallons of water per year that would otherwise have gone down the drain while waiting for it to get hot.
