RACE INFO: The NASCAR Cup Series will compete in the Drydene 311 on both Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd. Each race begins at 4 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network, MRN Radio Sirius XM 90.


Christopher Bell – No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry Preview NASCAR Cup Series Doubleheader at Dover International Speedway

“Going there for a double header is going to be very valuable track time with the low downforce rules package.”

Dover International Speedway: Christopher Bell will make his first and second NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) starts at Dover International Speedway in the No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry for Leavine Family Racing as the series heads to the Dover for a double header weekend.

Monster Mile: Bell has four prior starts at Dover in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and has tamed the Monster Mile twice, taking home the wins in the fall of 2018 and the spring of 2019. Overall, Bell has two wins, three top-five and three top-10 finishes at Dover.

Daytona Road Course Recap: Bell started 15th and had a strong run going through the first two stages but suffered some damage from a spin in the final stage of the race. Bell was able to rebound and salvage a 21st-place finish.

Christopher Bell: “Dover is one of my favorite racetracks on the schedule. Going there for a double header is going to be very valuable track time with the low downforce rules package. I’ve had success at this track and I’m looking for two good runs this weekend.”
