Q: How many years have you been in the industry?
A: 28 years, 3rd generation
Q: Why did you get into plumbing?
A: Family business
Q: What is the journey your career as a plumber took?
A: I started as an apprentice with my family’s plumbing company. After 11 years, I earned a Master License and our company closed. Then, I moved to a larger mechanical company and was a senior plumber for 5 years. After that, I ran a local hydronics department for a wholesale company in Denver. Next, I finally decided I needed to go out on my own and start a new company – PLUMBRAD Services, LLC.
Q: What was the most rewarding part of your work as a plumber?
A: Honest pay for honest work!! Plus, it helped support me and my family of 6 kids.
Q: What was your favorite memory of a time you helped your customers?
A: Volunteering my trade to help local cancer patients with plumbing and heating issues.
Q: What was one of your proudest moments as a plumber?
A: Earning my Master License and starting my own business.
Q: Do you have any advice for other plumbers?
A: The best advice I still tell apprentices and anyone who will listen is: NEVER stop learning, never stop being willing to learn, always be open to other ideas.
